Jon Joey Telebrico

Jon Joey (he/him/they/them) is a third-year student at Claremont McKenna College, majoring in Philosophy and American Studies with a sequence in Gender and Sexuality Studies. While his research interests—which include phenomenology, bodily habit, ethics, and existentialism—are rooted in the discipline of philosophy, the emphasis on mind-body problems, consciousness, and affective attitudes have a number of applications that fit with the projects of the METRICS Lab. They are excited to apply their multidisciplinary education to investigate the concept belonging at CMC as part of the lab's anti-racism project. Jon Joey hopes to pursue a Philosophy PhD and eventually become a professor in order to encourage the next generation of philosophy students seeking answers to the world's problems.
