Lab Director
Dr. Jennifer Feitosa
Feitosa is an Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology at Claremont McKenna College. She has earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Her research interests include teams, diversity, and methods in the workplace. She is currently answering questions, such as How can we maximize the benefits of diversity in work teams? She has co-authored over 100 publications in peer-review journals and presentations at professional conferences.

Research Assistants
Aaliyah Almeida
Aaliyah is a junior at Claremont McKenna College majoring in Psychology with a Leadership Studies Sequence. Her current research interests revolve around the impacts of DEI initiatives on employee performance and satisfaction from marginalized groups, along with how this may also extend into the educational sector. Aaliyah helped co-author recent METRICS Lab publication Microagressions in the Workplace: A Guide for Managers, published in April of 2025. She intends to pursue a master's degree pending her time at CMC in I/O Psychology, and is eager to continue developing her research skills in the METRICS Lab.

Quan Nguyen
Quan (he/him) is a junior studying Psychological Science at Pomona College. His research areas are in diverse school settings, small-group work dynamics, and individual cultural identities. Additionally, Quan is curious in understanding these individuals' concepts and their intersections. He pulls from his experience working in multi-cultural schools through teaching and volunteering and being a part of small diverse teams in Advancement departments. Quan plans on going into graduate school for I/O Psychology or Teaching and Learning.

Nitya Gupta
Nitya is a junior at CMC majoring in Economics with a sequence in Data Science. She became interested in I/O psychology because of its intersection with economics, particularly in understanding how organizational practices shape workplace outcomes. She has contributed to the Family-Building Friendly Climate (FBFC) project by supporting literature reviews and pilot interviews on inclusive family-building benefits. She hopes to continue exploring research at the intersection of policy and organizational behavior, and is eager to gain further experience through her work with the METRICS Lab.

Meera Rajagopal
Meera (she/her) is a junior at Scripps College majoring in Psychology. She is passionate about understanding team dynamics, leadership, and diversity and how these elements shape individual and group experiences. Meera is particularly interested in pursuing clinical psychology and hopes to use research to create meaningful change in people's lives. She is committed to applying psychological insights to help individuals and communities thrive, whether through mental health advocacy, research, or direct clinical work. Outside of academics, Meera loves yoga, Bollywood dance, vintage fashion, and exploring new parts of the world.

Roystone Varuma
Roystone is a sophmore student at CMC majoring in Integrated Sciences with a focus on financial economics. He is passionate about the intersection of public health and health psychology, and he aims to build a career in Big Pharma as either a pharmacologist or a consultant. In the Metrics lab, Roystone is particularly excited about the opportunity to dive deep into statistics, as he loves how it can transform data into meaningful insights. He’s eager to harness the power of quantitative analysis to drive impactful decisions in the health sector.

Jordan Nguyen
Jordan is a sophmore at CMC majoring in Organizational Studies and Data Science. He is interested in HR consulting and workforce data analytics, especially in the entertainment and hospitality industry. Jordan is passionate about empowering others to be the best version of themselves and always tries to apply that lesson to his own life. When he has free time, Jordan enjoys reading books, playing billiards, and going on walks around the city and nature.

Mrdah Murali
Mrdah is a sophmore at CMC majoring in Integrated Sciences and is considering a dual in Art. Her research interests include behavioral analysis and she will be looking at the concept of belongingness abroad taking into account moderators that affect this process. She is planning on pursuing a career in medicine as a Sports Physician.
